Welcome to Scotland’s newest off-road challenge –No Fuss Events present the inaugural Off-Road Half Marathon on May the 16th at Nevisrange Fort William.

This off-road event will provide stunning views of the Grey Corries and the Great Glen throughout the 21.1 kilometer course which is suitable for first-time off-road runners, walkers or more experienced ‘mountain goats’. It will be run on stages of the new Cour Trail which winds its way from Nevis range towards Spean Bridge will include the magical return on the old puggy line.

Registration is between 5pm and 7pm on Saturday evening and from 7am at the saddlespan on the Sunday morning. race starts 12noon.

Entry Numbers are to be worn on the FRONT and Timing Chip around the ankle.

Rules

1. It is the competitors responsibility to be ready to and at the start on time.

2. It is also the competitors responsibility to be ready with all equipment on time.

3 Runners may accept food and water from anyone on the course.

4 Foul tacticts includong short cutting will not be tolerated, unsportsmanlike behavior is totally un-acceptable this includes the use of profane or abusive language, this rule is taken very seriously by NO Fuss and anyone who violates this rule shall be disqualified from this and any future NO Fuss events.

5 Shortcutting the course can be grounds for automatic disqualification. If a rider makes a mistake and they report to officials before it is discovered, a time adjustment will be applied rather than a DQ.


6 All protests must be made by a team captain to a NO Fuss Official. Protests can be made throughout the event and up to 15 mins after the final results are posted. It would be appreciated if any protests could be made respectfully to the officials. No Fus officials say is final in all protests.

7 Safety on the course is our primary concern. If you come across an injured or a potentially unsafe situation, you are encouraged to stop and assist.

8 Ignorance Of any rule will not be accepted as an excuse

9The NO FUSS OFFICIALS ( FRAZER, SPOOK, and new for 2010 Clhoe) will be given the final decision regarding any occurrence at the event including those not addressed in the rules
